In case of Individual Membership, any gainfully employed person with at least a Graduate Degree, with a clean police record, not having been convicted of any offence involving moral turpitude is eligible to apply. The Membership tenure would be for three years. Initial enrollment fee of Rs. 2,00,000/- + 18% G.S.T would be levied in addition to subscription tariff of Rs. 55,000/-(Inclusive of G.S.T) After the initial 3 years member would be required to pay only Rs. 55,000/-(Inclusive of G.S.T) or as per direction of the advisory committee. All amounts are Non Refundable. However, kindly note, that your application for membership is subject to the terms and Conditions as fixed by the authority and will be decided upon the recommendations of the Advisory Committee of the Club.

Yes. Each Individual membership will include his/her spouse and two wards below 18 years.

A ward who is fully dependent on parents and living with them in the same property and having no separate source of income may be eligible for ADD-ON member above 18 years and below 25 years against a subscription of Rs 3,000.00 (plus 18% GST)

Yes.

1) Any reputed private or public limited company will be eligible to apply.

2) Any reputed Consultancy firm will be eligible to apply.

The tenure of each Corporate membership will be fifteen years from the date of issue of the admission letter. The non refundable admission tariff of Rs 1500000/- ( plus applicable taxes) will be levied. A yearly maintenance subscription of Rs 5000/- will be levied on each Corporate, which may be paid in lump sum along with the admission charges.

However, kindly note, that your application for membership is subject to the terms and Conditions as fixed by the authority and will be decided upon the recommendations of the Advisory Committee of the Club.

Each Corporate membership will be allowed to be represented by four nos of members, who must be on the Senior Management Posts of such a company/firm. (This will include their Spouse and two wards below 18 years).

Yes.

1) Collect the application form from the Club at AE Block, Action Area - I (C), New Town Kolkata 700 156

2) Please fill up the form, attach photographs and documents as and where required.

3) Submit the form at the club Office.

4) After the initial scrutiny, you will be invited for an informal interaction with the Advisory Committee along with your spouse, to know your requirements better. ( In case of Corporate applications, the representatives and their spouses will be invited).

5) Upon the recommendation of the Advisory Committee you will be issued with a provisional membership acceptance letter and a set of Rules and regulations. requesting you to deposit the necessary fees/charges within fifteen days.

6) After you deposit the necessary fees/charges, and upon receipt of the same you will be issued a Welcome letter along with the Membership Card.

Please note that the authority reserves the absolute right to reject any application without assigning any reason.

Club timings will be as follows:- 7:00 AM to 10:30PM.

Office timings:- The Club Office will remain open from Tuesdays to Sundays between 11:00AM to 7:00PM. The Club will remain open on all days except Mondays or on days as notified by the management.

New Town Business Club offers its members an ambience to relax and engage in creative pursuits. The Club has two standard sized Swimming pools including a baby pool for children. Members have the unique advantage to utilize the Lawn tennis, Badminton, Squash, Air Rifle Shooting to hone up their sporting skills and stay fit. A well equipped gymnasium beckons you to shape up and a food court on the top of it offers you a place to indulge yourself.

There are three plush suites which are on offer for the members to stay and a banquet hall where you can celebrate those occasions which are dear to you.

Apart from these, on offer are snooker & card room and Dart Arena. Not to mention the restaurant and Bar facilities which will help you to unwind after a tiring day, while your kids indulge in the Kids' room.

Apart from the Reservation of the Banquet hall, Conference Hall and the Suites (which can be enjoyed by a member at heavily discounted rate), a member can enjoy all other facilities absolutely free of cost (except for Air Rifle Shooting).

The restaurant, food court and the bar services however has to be availed at on-payment basis.

A) Member may bring maximum 4 guests to the club against payment of Rs. 50+ G.S.T per guest. If a member wishes to bring more than 4 guests permission of GM, NTBC would be required.
I) Each member/Family are permitted to bring only 04 guests at a time on Fridays, Saturday & Sundays.
On other days more guests may be brought only on approval of Club Authorities.
II) No particular guest may be brought to the Club for more then 3 days in a month(Even by different members)

B) Yes. But members shall in every case pay the expenses for such services as fixed by the authority availed by their guests and shall be responsible for their Guests Observance of Rules of the Club.

Please note that The Fitness centre / Gymnasium is intended for the exclusive use of members only of Business Club. No guests are allowed to access and to use the equipment.

NewTown Busines Club seeks to provide its esteemed members a platform to socialize and an atmosphere which fosters well being a camaraderie. The Members and their Guests are required to maintain appropriate standard of Dress on all Occasions, so that the standard and the decorum of the Club and its members are not offended.

• Sleeveless vests/Bermudas/three quarters are not allowed within the main building.
• Slippers are not allowed anywhere except in the Swimming pool area.
• Members and Guests are expected not to remove their Shoes and sit bare foot anywhere in the Club except Swimming Pool.
• Proper Swimming Dress/Gym attire/Occasion specific attire, as specified by the Management will be worn.

Yes. There are three plush suites available. Only the members or their guests (upon production of an introduction letter duly signed by the member and vetted by the GM Business Club) will be eligible to reserve the suites. MEMBER CAN BOOK ROOMS MAXIMUM 3DAYS AT A STRETCH IN A MONTH. The rooms may be reserved in advance after payment of Room Charges for the period booked.

Any guest before forwarding his/her recommendation must satisfy himself that any such act by his/her guest will not vitiate the club atmosphere or cause inconvenience to others. The member will be liable for making good any damage caused to the property of the Club by his/her guests at the rates fixed by the authority.

Members of Clubs will produce their Club Identity Cards and Guests of the members, their introduction letter at the time of Check in. Visitors cannot occupy the suites without any valid pass, ID card (Passport/Voter Id Card / Aadhaar card/Driving License) and the pass, ID card has to be shown at the time of entry/check-in.

The banquet hall can be booked only by a Member of the Club or his/her guest (upon production of an introduction letter duly signed by the member and vetted by the General Manager Club House), by a written requisition and payment of the full amount of applicable Charges. Please note:

• Allotment of party space will be on first come first served basis.
• 20% Non Refundable Processing Fees Venue charges and other applicable fees are to be paid in advance by the Member at the time of the requisition booking. Remaining 80% payment need to deposit before 1month of prior event date.
• The final adjustments will be made after the event, against the final bill.
• For catering services, the facilities of Cafe Ekante will only be allowed.
• Non members will be allowed to book the banquet hall subject to an introduction and recommendation by a member and upon availability and discretion of the authority.
• Any guest before forwarding his/her recommendation must satisfy himself that any such act by his/her guest will not vitiate the club atmosphere or cause inconvenience to others. The member will be liable for making good any damage caused to the property of the Club by his/her guests at the rates fixed by the authority.
• Following are the booking rates for Members : Rs. 15,000/- (Excl- GST)
• Following are the booking rates for Guests of Members : Rs. 25,000/- ( Excl- GST)
• In addition to the Reservation Charge, Rs. 3000/- will be levied on all bookings as miscellaneous utility charges.
• In case of unforeseen circumstances if the Club cancels the booking, the members will be given an advance Notice to the extent possible and 100% refund.
• Cancellation charges for Venues are as follows:
  • More than 30 days --- 100% refund of advance.
  • 21 to 29 days --- 75% refund of advance.
  • 15 to 20 days --- 50% refund of advance.
  • 02 to 14 days --- 25% refund of advance.
  • Less than 02 days --- No refund of advance.
  • Paid but not used --- No refund of advance.
• Cancellation by Members of less than 48 hours on Food orders will attract 100% charges.
• Except for the Banquet Hall at Ground floor; no music for private events is permitted. Under no circumstances other members of the Club should be inconvenienced.
• The Club doesn’t permit any religious/ political programme services in its premises.
• All private parties and functions in the Club must close by 11 p.m.
• Maid/servants/personal attendants are not allowed in the Club house premises.
• In case any VIP is invited, intimation of the same is to be given and slight changes in the Club routine may be done after due permission by the Management.

Additional Fee :-

• Security Deposit --- Rs 10,000/- ( By cheque)
• Extra time Permission fee --- Rs 2,000/- per hour after 11pm
• Electricity Charges for Outside Audio System (max -65db) & Videography - Rs 600/-
• Music System( Club) hiring charges Rs 900/-
• Electricity charges for Halogen ( >2 ) Rs 300/- each( max2)

Rights of admission is reserved with the authority.

Timings (Club will remain closed on all Mondays)

Please note that the Authority may change the timings at any point of time if the need so arises.

The Green Verge can be booked by a member/non member by a written requisition and payment of the full amount of applicable charges.
Please Note:

• Allotment of party space will be on first come first served basis.
• 20% Non refundable processing fees of the Venue charges and other applicable fees has to be paid in advance by the Member/Non Member at the time of the requisition booking.
• Remaining 80% payment need to be deposited before 1month prior to the event date.

• Following are the booking rates of Green verge 50,000/- (EXCl GST)
• In addition to the Reservation Charge, Rs 6000/- + 18% GST will be levied on all bookings as miscellaneous utility charges.
• Cancellation by Members/Non Members of less than 48 hours on food orders will attract 100% charges.
• Except for the Banquet hall at green verge; no music (Max 45 DB ) for private events is permitted. Under no circumstances others of the club should be inconvenienced.
• The club doesn't permit any religious / Political Programme in its premises.
• All private parties and functions in the club must close by 11 p.m.
• In case any VIP is invited, intimation of he same is to be given to the management in advance (minimum 24 hrs before)
